~Reporting Back~

30.October.2026

They were sent, and they went. The story does not end there, because they also came back.

And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
Mark 6:30-31

Notice what they told Him. All things, what they had done and what they had taught. Nothing was held back, and nothing was dressed up. The next thing He said was to come away and rest.

Years later, Paul and Barnabas came back from a journey and did the same thing with the church.

And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
Acts 14:27

Look at how they phrase it. The apostles in Mark told what they had done. Paul and Barnabas told what God had done with them. I think both are honest, and the second is where we are meant to end up, because it is the presence part of everything we have walked through. The Name is what we go in, the authority is what stands behind us, and God is with us when we go.

The training at the conference I attended last week ended the same way, with going and then being watched, and with a place to report. We are not sent out to go alone and never be heard from again. We go, we come back, and we tell it.

I have been considering the following question and invite you to consider it also. When I tell what happened, am I telling it as what I did, or as what God did with me?

Make today count. See you tomorrow.
