~He Is Coming Back for You~

31.August.2026

My pastor has said it this way. Jesus didn’t die to come back for a one night stand, a girlfriend, or a mistress. He died to come back for a bride. That’s what the Bible says we are, we are His bride.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3

That’s not the language of someone passing through. That’s the language of someone building a home, on purpose, with you on His mind. A groom doesn’t prepare a place for someone he’s casually interested in. He prepares it for the one he’s committed his whole life to.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13

That word looking is important. We’re not waiting on a maybe, we’re waiting on a promise already sealed by the cross and the empty tomb. And when it happens, it won’t be quiet or uncertain.

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. Revelation 19:7

His wife hath made herself ready, that’s us. Not a fling He’ll forget, not a placeholder until something better comes along. A bride, prepared, honored, and fully His.

Think about what that means for how you live today. A bride doesn’t live like she’s unwanted and doesn’t carry herself like an afterthought. She lives ready, because she knows the wedding is coming and it’s not a rumor. Every day you spend anxious, forgotten, or unloved is a day lived out of alignment with what’s actually true about you.

He is coming back. Not for a one night stand. Not for a mistress. For you, His bride, the one He gave everything to prepare a place for.

Are you living ready?

If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, you can do that right now. Pray this with me:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I confess that I have sinned, and I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I ask Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
