~He Never Changes~

21.August.2026

What do we know about this life? From the world’s perspective, nothing stays the same. Everything is always changing. Relationships shift, circumstances shift, seasons come and go. But here’s what brings comfort, peace, and even greater authority and dominion to our lives: God never changes. For I am the LORD, I change not. Malachi 3:6

Remember, we’ve talked about Jesus being the Word, and the written word being Jesus personified. Since God never changes, since He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then we can have confidence in everything He has actually said. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Hebrews 13:8

Here’s an important distinction, though. Just because something was accurately recorded in scripture doesn’t mean God agreed with it or endorsed it. The Bible faithfully records what happened and what people said, but recording something accurately and God approving of its content are two different things. When scripture tells us what Job’s friends said to him, it’s telling us truthfully what they said, but God later corrects them directly, telling them they spoke wrongly about Him. What God Himself says, His own promises, His own character revealed fully through Jesus, that’s where His unchanging nature applies.

I have loved thee with an everlasting love. Jeremiah 31:3 Everlasting. We’ve already talked this week about Him being outside of time, so all He knows is everlasting, from before creation, forever. That love was never a temporary feeling. It doesn’t fluctuate with your circumstances or your performance. It’s the same love, unchanged, from before you existed until forever.

You can build your identity on something solid because the foundation itself never shifts. He doesn’t change His mind about you.

I have set the LORD always before me. Psalm 16:8 You are always on His mind. Is He on yours, even part of your day?

Have you set your mind on Him the way He’s set His on you? https://youtu.be/cuXvwibxBhw?is=3wGfaqFShBs0OZOz

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way, it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting. Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank You for saving me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
