~Single-Minded~

18.August.2026

Once the choice is made, once the line is drawn, what does life actually look like? Undivided loyalty. Undivided love. Undivided faith.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13

Having done all, to stand. Not to control the outcome, nor to force a result. Simply to stand, fully armored, fully committed, undivided.

We have all authority in heaven and on earth. We’ve gone over that again and again throughout this series. But here’s a distinction that has to be made clearly: we do not have authority to control people. What we can do is influence them. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.
Ephesians 1:17-19

He loves them even more than we do, whether it’s a friend, a family member, or someone we hold dear.

And when we remember that, our own love somehow pales in comparison. He loved them so much that He gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58

Are there people you’ve prayed for, for months? Years? Maybe even over a decade? Don’t faint. Don’t let the enemy wear you out and convince you it’s hopeless, that nothing will ever change.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

Walking it out single-minded means staying steadfast even when the answer hasn’t come yet, trusting that the labor isn’t wasted just because you can’t see the harvest. Evidence not seen. Hebrews 11:1

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.2 Timothy 4:7

That’s the goal. To be able to say that, at the end, with full confidence, because you stayed undivided the whole way through.

This is what it means to carry the banner of Jesus Christ as His representative while we’re here. And as we do that, as we keep our eyes fixed on Him and what He wants, everything else, all the trappings of earth, all the comparisons, all the noise, begins to fade. It stops mattering the way it used to.

Are we there yet?

If you have never let Jesus Christ be the Lord of your life, you can do that right now. Pray this with me:

Dear Heavenly Father,
I confess that I have sinned, and I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I ask Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
