~Draw the Line~

17.August.2026

There comes a point in our lives when we have to say, I’m all in, with no turning back and nothing left on the other side worth going back for.

We’ve been given love freely, and now it’s our turn to return that love to Him. I’ve heard it said that this becomes our last act of choice, our last exercise of free will, choosing Him fully and completely. Once we do that, everything we do from that point on is what He wants, what He asks, what He wills, because we’ve become His voice on this earth.

Drawing that line means saying no more flesh, and meaning it.

But here’s what nobody tells you: the enemy doesn’t stop trying just because you drew the line once. If that line is drawn in the sand at the edge of the ocean, he keeps washing up on shore trying to erase it. When he does, you draw the line again, saying no, I’m not going back. No, I’m not doing that again. No, I am not thinking that thought again, because I have the mind of Christ, and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Isaiah 54:17

I am of God, and I have already overcome, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world, 1 John 4:4. So you shut up devil. You don’t get a voice in my life anymore.

That’s what drawing the line actually looks like in real time. It’s not a one-time decision you make and never revisit, it’s a decision you keep making, every time the enemy tries to wash the line away, every time an old thought resurfaces, every time you’re tempted to go back to what you already walked away from. You draw it again, and you stand on it, because you already decided. You’re all in.

If you have never let Jesus Christ be the Lord of your life, you can do that right now. Pray this with me:

Dear Heavenly Father,
I confess that I have sinned, and I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I ask Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
