~Working In Me, Through Me~

21.July.2026

Here is what separates those who profess Jesus from those who possess Jesus: you cannot fake what His power working through you looks like. You can fake a lot of things. You can memorize scripture and quote it flawlessly. You can perform the right actions and say the right words. But His power moving in and through you? There is no manufacturing that.

And here is the mark that reveals the difference: it is not about what man cares about. It is about what God cares about. What God thinks triumphs over what people think. When you possess Him, His priorities become your priorities. His concern becomes your concern. And people who have a real relationship with Him will know it because you cannot hide what is truly in your heart.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭34‬

When the pressure comes and you are squeezed, what spills out is what was hidden inside. Believe me when I say this, I know this too well and I’m learning something new.

You might slip and say something you think you did not mean to say, but the truth is those words came from your heart. That is why it is so critical to hide His Word in your heart. Because when you are under pressure, when the orange is squeezed, it produces orange juice. You cannot squeeze lemon juice out of an orange no matter how hard you press.

But here is something you need to understand: the spirit behind what is driving someone may not be what is appearing on the surface. Fear can come out looking like anger. Despair can mask itself as depression. You might think you are dealing with one thing in the natural, but without the supernatural attached to it, you will be guessing. You will not know.

This is why the Holy Spirit is so essential. He directs you (John 16:13). He leads you. He guides you. He tells you of things to come (John 16:13). Without His insight, you are operating blind in the natural realm, trying to solve spiritual problems with human wisdom. But when the Holy Spirit is involved, you have clarity. You have His discernment, he shows you what is actually hidden beneath the surface.

For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬

This is the promise: His power is at work inside you, not through your strength, and not your effort. It is God working in you to produce both the desire and the ability to do what He has called you to do.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬

When you possess Him, He is not just in you. He is living through you. Your life becomes His life. Your words, your actions, your motivations are driven by Him, not by you. That is the difference between profession and possession. One is you trying to act like Jesus. One is Jesus actually living through you.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬

His power working in you is not limited to what you can imagine or ask for. It exceeds your expectations. It surpasses your understanding. It only works when He is truly in you, when you possess Him rather than just profess Him.

When His Word is hidden in your heart and becomes the fabric of your being, when the Holy Spirit is directing and guiding you, when His power is truly working in and through you, that is when you care about what God cares about, no longer what man thinks. That is when the real you, the redeemed you, the possessed you shows up under pressure. And people will know.

If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, you can do that right now. Pray this with me:

Dear Heavenly Father, I confess that I have sinned, and I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I ask Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
