~ Surrendered to What~

08.July.2026

We spent the last week walking through Personal Inventory together, laying every single thing on the table before God, our stuff, our family, our job, what we bring, until our hands were finally open and empty before Him. And if you sat with that all the way through, you likely came to the same place many of us do after real surrender, which is a quiet moment of wondering, surrendered to what, exactly, and what’s next.

That question deserves an answer before we move forward into anything new.

“Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭49‬

That is what you were surrendered to. Not simply saved and settled, not simply emptied and still, but handed over to a Kingdom that was never meant to end with you feeling better about your own soul. Jesus said it clearly, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do. John 14:12 Being about the Father’s business was never only Jesus’ assignment. It is ours. If we are called to do what He did and greater, then this cannot be optional for anyone who calls themselves a believer. It is not a suggestion reserved for the especially devoted, it is the evidence of the life He said would follow anyone who truly believes.

For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:14 Let that settle in you today, whether you are brand new to this faith or you have been sitting in church for decades. Being chosen is not about how long you have known His name, it is about whether you are willing to be faithful with what He has already shown you. What does all in look like for me? What does all in looklike for each of you? Ask Him and let us be faithful, all of us, new and seasoned alike.  Let today be the day we stop just being called and start walking like the chosen.

Tomorrow we begin something new, seven days on boldness and what it costs to be about that business in a generation that badly needs to see it lived out. Come ready.

If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, you can do that right now. Pray this with me:

Dear Heavenly Father,
I confess that I have sinned, and I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I ask Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
