~Done Means Done~

14.June.2026

Not one puff, not one drag, not one cigarette, not a partial commitment that you revisit every time obedience gets uncomfortable, because the moment you drew that line in the sand and stepped over it you made a decision that does not have an expiration date and does not come with a Plan B, because there is no Plan B, there is only Him, and that is not a limitation, that is the greatest news you will ever receive.

Paul says it so well: “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14 One thing, not two things. Not one thing with a backup plan, only one thing, pressing forward, and the things behind are behind because that is where they belong.

Remember Lot’s wife. She had everything she needed to move forward and she looked back anyway, and that one look told the whole story about where her heart still was. (Luke 17:32) Done means done, and done means you do not look back, not with longing, not with “what ifs,”, not even with a glance.

Please consider settling this, once and for all, there are not three voices in your head, there are two, and one of them is not actually yours, it is a suggestion the enemy planted that you accepted and made your own, and once you identify it for what it is you can get righteously angry about it and take authority over it and make the only choice that was ever really yours to make. The choice is Jesus, every single time without exception, because the fence exists and you do not even want to come close to it, ever again.

Will He ask you to do uncomfortable things? Absolutely, but for most of us the uncomfortable will not kill us, it will just stretch us, and the stretching is the point because on the other side of the stretch is the person He always intended you to be. “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19 A new thing. A way where there was no way. Rivers where there was only desert.

He is a good, good heavenly Father, and He loves you more than you have yet fully understood. When you are walking in the fullness of what He called you to you will wonder what in the world you were doing before and why it took you so long to get here, and the answer will simply be that you were on your way, and now you have arrived, and done means done.

No Plan B. No looking back. No fence within a hundred miles.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
