~Get Off The Fence ~

12.June.2026

There is no such thing as neutral ground in the kingdom of God, and the sooner you settle that in your heart the safer you are, because what feels like the middle is not the middle at all, it is a position, and it belongs to the enemy.

Elijah stood before the people of Israel and asked them a question that had only one honest answer: “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.” 1 Kings 18:21 They had nothing to say because they knew exactly what he meant, they were not ready to commit, and their silence was itself an answer, just not the right one.

ALL IN means you are done being silent, done straddling, done keeping your options open in case full surrender turns out to cost more than you budgeted for, because it will cost more than you budgeted for and you pay it anyway because He is worth it.

Got it — you want the War Room illustration dropped into the end of the Revelation 3:15-16 paragraph, right before or flowing into “Lukewarm is not a safe place to land.” Let me reflow just that paragraph so you can see it clean.

Jesus does not mince words about this: “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” (Revelation 3:15-16) There is a scene in the movie War Room where Miss Clara asks Elizabeth about her prayer life, and after hearing what she expected to hear she hands her a cup of coffee, and Elizabeth takes a sip and looks at her and says “do you like your coffee room temperature?” and Miss Clara replies “no, baby, mine’s hot.” https://youtu.be/6jfOQ4-whSI?is=wNTG2kJhQ6hzNIiV

Lukewarm is not a safe place to land, it is the most dangerous place you can be, because it feels like faith while functioning like doubt and it satisfies neither God nor you.

James makes the stakes plain when he writes that friendship with the world is enmity with God, and you cannot maintain both allegiances simultaneously no matter how carefully you try to manage them. James 4:4b The fence feels stable until you realize who built it and who benefits every single moment you stay on it.

Satan is the author of distraction, the architect of delay, and the owner of the fence, and he is perfectly content to let you stay there indefinitely because a believer on the fence is a believer who is not moving forward, and that is close enough to a win for him.

Get off the fence. Pick a side. You already know which one.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
