~More Than a Diet~

LIVE LONG AND PROSPER

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2, NKJV

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NKJV

Yes, the title is a Star Trek reference. And yes, it is completely biblical. That is exactly the kind of thing that makes me smile, because truth has a way of showing up everywhere, even on the bridge of the Enterprise.

Here is what I really want you to know before we go a single step further into this series. This is not a diet. There is no meal plan coming, no forbidden food list, and nobody is going to make you feel guilty about what you ate last Tuesday. That is not what this is, and honestly, that is not who He is.

What this is, is a conversation. A look at the body God gave you through the lens of love, His love for you, and the love you have for Him in return, simple as that.

He made you on purpose, designing every system inside you with intention, and when He stepped back and looked at what He had made, He called it very good. That has never changed. What has changed is the world around us, and most of us inherited a way of eating built more around convenience than around the design He had in mind. Everything is processed, with sugar where it does not belong, ingredients your grandmother would not recognize on a label, and we have been running on fumes long enough that fumes started to feel normal.

This series is an invitation to look at that honestly, without shame and without pressure, with a little scripture, a little science, and some practical swaps that do not require a specialty grocery store or a second mortgage.

We may go longer than eight days because some topics deserve more room and we will give it to them. What will never change is the vision behind every single post, and that is to see you healthy and strong, living long for the people around you and for everything He still has ahead of you.

Live long and prosper, friend. Turns out Spock was onto something.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
