~Holding Hope~

29.March.2026

Perseverance is not glamorous, nor does it feel powerful. Most days it just feels like showing up, again, when you would rather give up. But perseverance is exactly what God is asking of you, and He does not ask you to do anything without equipping you.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” That word when is doing a lot of work, not if, but when. God is not describing a possibility, but He is describing the outcome. Hold onto that.

Philippians 1:6 gives us something to hold onto:“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” That good work includes what He started in your child just like He did you. God does not begin something and walk away from it. He is still working, still moving, still completing what He set in motion, even in the seasons when you cannot see it.

2 Peter 3:9 tells us He is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” Any. All. Your child is not the exception to God’s desire. He wants them more than you do, and He has not stopped pursuing them.

Ecclesiastes 11:6 says, “In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening do not withhold your hand; for you do not know which will prosper, either this or that, or whether both alike will be good.” Keep sowing. Morning and evening. Prayer, declaration, love, presence. You do not know which seed is the one that breaks through, so keep planting all of them.

The story is not finished. God is still writing it, and He is very good at endings. Listen for His voice.

Hold hope. He will not disappoint you.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
