Yesterday we talked about a covenant keeping God who has been writing this story with breathtaking precision for thousands of years. I told you the signs are not hiding. Today I want to show you just how many there are.
For the last few years I have followed a minister named Joe Morris who does a weekly update on current affairs as they relate to Bible prophecy. He has catalogued close to one hundred prophetic signs that are either already fulfilled or actively unfolding right now. One hundred. I am not going to give you all of them. But I am going to give you enough to make you put everything else aside and pay attention.
These are not predictions. These are fulfillments.
∙ Israel made a nation again, 1948 (Isaiah 66:8)
∙ Jerusalem won back by the Jewish people, 1967 (Luke 21:24)
∙ Revival of the Roman Empire, 1957 — the Treaty of Rome establishing what would become the European Union (Daniel 7:23-24)
∙ Hebrew language restored as a spoken national language — the only dead language in history to be fully revived (Zephaniah 3:9)
∙ Ethiopian Jews brought back to Israel, 1991 — Operation Solomon airlifted fourteen thousand Ethiopian Jews home in a single day (Zephaniah 3:10)
Every single one of those was spoken by a prophet. Every single one of them happened. Now let’s look at what is happening right now.
∙ Mass return of Jewish people to Israel from every nation on earth (Isaiah 11:11-12) — since 1948 millions of Jewish people have returned home from over one hundred countries, exactly as prophesied.
∙ Israel flourishing agriculturally in land that was barren desert for centuries (Ezekiel 36:35) — Israel is now one of the top agricultural exporters in the world, growing crops in sand and exporting flowers to Europe in the dead of winter.
∙ Fish appearing near the Dead Sea (Ezekiel 47:8-10) — the Dead Sea has been so saturated with salt for centuries that nothing could survive in it. In recent years freshwater sinkholes have formed along its shoreline and fish have been found living in them. Ezekiel said it was coming.
∙ Foxes photographed roaming the Temple Mount at night (Lamentations 5:18) — and here is the backstory that makes this one remarkable. When the great rabbi Akiva saw foxes walking on the ruins of the temple centuries ago he actually laughed. His fellow rabbis were weeping. He told them that since the prophecy of desolation had been fulfilled, he was now certain the prophecy of restoration would also be fulfilled. When photos surfaced in recent years of foxes roaming the Temple Mount at night, rabbis in Israel made the same connection. The desolation is giving way. The restoration is coming.
∙ Cornerstone prepared for the Third Temple (Daniel 9:27) — a massive cornerstone has already been cut, prepared, and is waiting. It has been dedicated in ceremony. The Temple Institute is not theorizing. They are ready.
∙ Temple Institute fully prepared — priestly garments sewn, temple vessels recreated, the menorah, the altar of incense, the table of showbread, all of it finished and waiting (Daniel 9:27). There is a museum in Jerusalem where you can see it all right now.
∙ Ezekiel 38 coalition forming in real time — Russia, Iran, and Turkey aligning against Israel exactly as described (Ezekiel 38:2-6). Twenty years ago this alignment would have seemed impossible. Today it is on the front page.
∙ Massive flocks of predatory birds migrating through Israel (Ezekiel 39:17-20) — Israel sits on one of the largest bird migration routes on earth. Every year hundreds of millions of birds pass through, including enormous flocks of raptors and vultures. Ezekiel described birds of prey being called to a battlefield in Israel. The birds are already there.
∙ Technology now exists to implement a global economic control system (Revelation 13:16-17) — digital currency, biometric identification, implantable chips. John described something in 96 AD that the world now has the infrastructure to fulfill completely.
∙ Ritual purification baths near the Temple Mount filled with water (Ezekiel 36:25) — these ancient mikvahs, required for temple worship, were restored and prepared. And then they filled. On their own.
Now let me tell you the red heifer story because this one is so exciting.
Numbers 19 describes a rare red heifer, a cow with not a single non-red hair on its body, never yoked, never worked. The ashes of that heifer mixed with water were required for the purification of priests before temple service could resume. Without it the temple cannot function. For centuries finding a qualified red heifer has been considered nearly impossible. And then in 2022 five perfectly red heifers were born on a ranch in Texas. A Christian rancher had been breeding them specifically for this purpose, believing God had called him to it. An evangelical organization called Boneh Israel helped facilitate what happened next. Because of strict export regulations, those five heifers were classified as pets and loaded onto an American Airlines Boeing 777. They flew from Texas to Israel as carry-on livestock. In 2025, a preparatory ceremony was held in Samaria. The Temple Institute and the Sanhedrin have both confirmed the effort is ongoing. The official sacrifice has not yet happened. But the heifers are there. The priests are trained. The purification baths are full. They are ready and waiting.
When I listened to all of this I kept thinking about what Joe Morris said that I cannot get away from. When a runner sees the finish line he does not slow down. He speeds up. The finish line is in sight. And the church, the body of Christ, you and I, should not be pulling back right now saying “come Lord Jesus, come.” We should be pressing harder than we ever have. Supporting your local pastor. Leading people to Jesus. Laying hands on the sick and watching them recover. Showing up. Being faithful. Being willing.
This is not the time to coast. This is not the time to get comfortable or distracted or discouraged. We may not know the day or the hour but every sign on this list is a signal. And the signal is the same one it has always been. He is coming. He kept every promise He made to Israel. He will keep every promise He made to you.
The finish line is in sight. Do not slow down now.
I want to invite you to make the most important decision of your life. And if you once knew Him but have wandered, I want you to know it is not too late. He is not waiting to condemn you. He is waiting to restore you, renew you, and remind you of who you are in Him. Return to Him today. Say this out loud, and mean it:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank You for saving me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
