It’s easy to overlook the small things.
The heartfelt prayers.
The consistent obedience.
Our daily choosing to stay aligned with Him and His Word when no one else sees the effort.
But Scripture tells us those moments matter to God.
“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much.” Luke 16:10, NKJV
Faithfulness is not measured by size or visibility. It’s measured by our consistency. God pays attention to what we often dismiss, the small, ordinary acts of trust that shape who we are becoming.
Those small steps of surrender build spiritual strength. Small moments of obedience cultivate discernment. Small choices, made repeatedly, form character that can carry even bigger responsibility.
There is nothing insignificant when it is offered to God. The prayer whispered under your breath. The decision to pause instead of react. The choice to trust Him again today.
If today feels small, let it be faithful. God uses the least to prepare us for more.
““I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.”
Revelation 2:19 NKJV
Recently, I finished listening to an audiobook about a man whose later years looked very different from his earlier ones. In his younger life, he loved the spotlight, the accolades, the titles, the recognition, and the wealth that came with them. But in his later years, his life became quiet. Hidden. Marked by small, intentional acts of service to those around him. He used what he had, not to be seen, but to bring joy. Not pretentiously, but purposefully. He asked for nothing in return, yet what he did left the deepest imprint on every life he touched.
Keep your eyes on Him; what He is preparing will be revealed in time.
