There are seasons when it feels like nothing is happening. There is no visible movement, no clear answers, it’s just quiet.
And yet, Scripture reminds us that God does some of His deepest work in this time.
“For since the beginning of the world
men have not heard nor perceived by the ear,
nor has the eye seen any God besides You,
who acts for the one who waits for Him. Isaiah 64:4, NKJV
Waiting, is not always inactivity. It is not being overlooked, nor being delayed.
Waiting is often where God prepares us for what will one day be revealed.
So much of what matters most in our lives is formed before anyone else ever sees it. Strength is built quietly. Clarity takes root unseen. Faith grows long before it has language.
The quiet can feel uncomfortable, especially when we want answers, movement, or reassurance. But the quiet is not empty, it is intentional. God is faithful in what He does beneath the surface, even when we don’t yet recognize the shape of it.
If you find yourself in a waiting season today, resist the urge to rush it. Resist the temptation to measure your life by what you can see. Trust that the same God who acts openly also works faithfully in secret.
Let today be an opportunity to rest, not strive. To trust, not force. To wait, knowing that He is already at work.
Keep your eyes on Him; what He is preparing will be revealed in time.
