~Super Sunday – Huddle to Heart~

08.February.2026

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John‬ ‭15‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Some days we have extra energy.

Not because of what the days demand from us, but because of what they bring.

Today, many in the United States will mark Super Bowl Sunday, a championship game that draws people together year after year. For some, it’s about the teams, for others, the commercials, for many, it’s simply an excuse to gather, share food, laugh, and enjoy being together.

And even for those reading from other nations, the idea is familiar. Every culture has moments like this, celebrations, matches, holidays, shared events, where attention gathers and community forms.

There is something very human about that.

Preparation happens long before the game ever begins. Training, discipline, strategy, and unseen hours that lead up to a very visible moment. What’s revealed publicly was formed privately.

Scripture works the same way.

God has always drawn His people close to Himself before sending them out. Intimacy comes first. Strength is formed in the quiet. Clarity is shaped in close intimacy. Then life happens, out loud, visible, and sometimes unpredictable.

We cannot live this life from striving or self-effort. We live from the source we return to. What we cultivate in God’s presence becomes what sustains us in public moments, busy days, and ordinary conversations.

Wherever this Sunday finds you, watching a game, sharing a meal, resting quietly, or moving through a normal day, remember this:

Yesterday’s preparation is vital.
However you are living today with a present, abiding connection.
And that connection was never meant to stay hidden.

It was meant to be carried, and shared with humility, peace, and confidence, into the world you’re already walking in.

Make today count and I’ll see you tomorrow.
