Intimacy with God is not something we visit.
It is something we live in.
Every day He invites us to know Him, walk with Him, and allow Him to change us from the inside out.
Spiritual authority does not come from increasing our volume.
It does not come from our knowledge.
It does not come from our effort.
Even though we have our part, our part comes from our closeness with Him, not striving in our own strength.
Jesus carried authority because He remained connected to the Father.
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” John 15:7 NKJV
Authority flows from agreement.
From trust.
From abiding.
When you know His heart, you pray with confidence.
When you know His will, you move with clarity.
When you stay close, fear loses its voice.
“Behold, I give you the authority… over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 NKJV
This authority is not forced.
It is settled.
It is calm.
It is rooted in relationship.
You do not strive for authority.
You receive it as you remain in Him.
“Abide in Christ, and let Christ abide in you. The two sides of the Christian life, dwelling in Christ and Christ dwelling in you, are the secret of a powerful life.” ~Andrew Murray~
Because intimacy always precedes impact.
Tomorrow we will talk about peace as your confirmation.
About learning to recognize God’s peace as your guide. (Colossians 3:15 AMPC)
About letting His peace rule your decisions. (The key Greek word here is brabeuō (βραβεύω), which literally means “to rule” or “to arbitrate/govern.”)
Rest in Him as we embrace the classic hymn sung by Anthony Evans

Tomorrow is where stillness becomes direction.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
