Knowing Him Daily

Intimacy with God isn’t a quick stop we make. 

It’s the ongoing life we live in His presence.

Every single day is another invitation to know Him more, walk closely with Him, and let Him reshape us from the inside out..

God has never been silent.
He has always been speaking.
The question has never been if He speaks.
It has always been how we listen.

“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” John 10:27 NKJV

Hearing God’s voice is not reserved for a special few.

It is the birthright of all of us who belong to Him.

The more time you spend with Him, in His Word, the more familiar His voice becomes. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Just like you recognize the voice of someone you love, you begin to recognize His tone, His gentleness, and His Truth.

“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.’” Isaiah 30:21 NKJV

God’s voice never brings fear.
It never brings confusion.
It never contradicts His Word.

His voice brings peace, clarity, correction always in His kindness, and direction in a way that you know that He loves you.

“God is not the author of confusion but of peace.”  1 Corinthians 14:33 NKJV

Let today be a listening day.
A slowing down day.
A discerning day.
Stay close to Him and His Word.

Because closeness sharpens hearing Him and His wisdom will honor the Word. 

As you settle into listening, tomorrow we will talk about daily alignment.
