Intimacy with God is not something we visit.
It is something we live in.
Every day is another invitation to know Him, walk with Him, and allow Him to change us from the inside out.
Jesus never rushed intimacy. He protected it.
Even when crowds pressed, needs pulled, and voices demanded, He withdrew.
“Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while.” Mark 6:31 NKJV
There is something sacred about stepping away from noise.
Not because people are unimportant, but because presence must be protected if intimacy is going to grow.
God will not shout over the noise of your life. He’s a gentleman.
He waits in the secret place.
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.” Psalm 27:4 NKJV
Intimacy deepens when you give Him unhurried space.
When your prayers slow down.
When your listening becomes intentional.
When your heart learns to be still.
You are not being called to do less.
You are being invited to be closer.
Come away.
He is waiting for you there.
Come expecting.
Come anticipating that you will hear His voice.
Bring your Bible, your journal, and a pen. Then sit, listen, and let Him speak.
As you close your day, allow the quiet stay with you.
Because when you make space for Him, something begins to awaken inside you.
Tomorrow we will learn how to recognize His voice.
How to discern His gentle leading from the noise of fear and distraction.
How to walk with confidence, knowing when it is truly Him who is speaking.
