~Lift Your Eyes~

27.December.2026

Before vision makes forward movement, our eyes must first be solidly focused on Him.

This day invites us to pause after the fullness of Christmas and gently lift our eyes again, above circumstances, above disappointment, above what did or did not unfold this year. Vision does not begin with striving or planning, it begins with surrender… to Him, to His will, and His Plan A.

If God can’t take me there, may I never go.

If God can’t give it to me, may I never have it.

If God can’t do it, let it remain undone.

This is the foundation of godly vision. Not ambition without Him, not dreams fueled by pressure or comparison, but a heart that says, Lord, only what You are in, only what You are building, and only what You are blessing.

Scripture reminds us how different God’s ways truly are.

“For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!” Isaiah‬ ‭64‬:‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Waiting is not passive, rather is an active trust. It is choosing to lift our eyes and believe that God is already at work in ways we cannot yet see, hear, or imagine.

As you take time with Him today, consider this without pressure or regret.

Is your life today what you pictured it to be a year ago?

Maybe yes. Maybe not at all. Either way, this moment becomes holy when we lift our eyes and place our vision back into His hands. Because the safest place for any dream is in the care of a God who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

So today, we look to Him. Not to the past we cannot change, and not to a future we are trying to control, but to the God who already exists in both. We release our plans, our timelines, even our expectations, and we choose trust instead. Because when God is the author of the vision, He is also the sustainer of it. Whatever comes next, wherever He leads, we can step forward with confidence and peace, knowing that if He cannot take us there, we never truly wanted to go at all.
