23.December.2025
I invite you today to slow down. Let’s sit by the fire or a walk in the park with a steaming cup of tea, coffee, hot cocoa or cider in your hands, let the warmth settle into your body, and to breathe a little deeper than you have all season. Nothing needs to be accomplished. Nothing needs to be explained. This is simply a moment to be present.
Let your mind wander back over the days behind you. The words that stirred something. The scriptures that lingered. The places where God surprised you, softened you, or gently revealed something new. This Christmas season, God has been doing a work, even in ways you may not fully recognize yet.
This is a good day to meditate on what this season has meant for you so far. You might light a candle and let its soft glow remind you of the Light who has come. You could reread Luke 2 slowly, letting each word settle without rushing to the next. Sit in gratitude. Hold space for awe. Let stillness do its quiet work in you, thanking God for the hope He has rekindled and the anticipation He has grown in your heart. Sit quietly with Him and let gratitude speak without needing many words.
“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalms 46:10 NKJV
Whatever time of day it is for you, let stillness be your offering. Let warmth, reflection, and faith fill the space. Tomorrow, we will step into Christmas Eve, hearts ready, room prepared, joy waiting just beyond the quiet.
