~Good News of Great Joy~

22.December.2025

The waiting gives way to awe and wonder. The anticipation happens all at once with a proclamation meant for everyone. Heaven cannot contain the joy any longer. “Behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all people” Luke 2:10. These words were spoken first to shepherds, ordinary men in an ordinary field, and yet they carried a message that would change the world forever.

God did not announce the arrival of His Son to kings or scholars, or the religious , but to those who were watching, listening, and willing to receive. This is the heart of God, that the good news is for all. Not just the polished or the powerful, but also the weary, the hopeful, the forgotten, the faithful, and the searching.

Great joy does not mean the absence of hardship. It means the presence of hope. It means God has come near. It means darkness has not won. Corrie ten Boom embodied this kind of joy, choosing gratitude and trust in God even while imprisoned in Auschwitz, reminding us that joy can exist in all circumstances. Joy arrives not as a feeling to chase, but His truth to receive. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” Luke 2:11. This is joy rooted in reality, anchored in promise, and secured by love.

The shepherds responded by going, by seeing, by telling. Joy always moves us outward. It cannot stay contained. It moves into praise, into gratitude, into testimony. When we truly receive the good news, it changes how we live and how we love.

I encourage you to let joy take over your heart. Not rushed. Not forced. Just received. Let it remind you that God keeps His promises, that hope has a name, and that love has come all the way to us.

Tomorrow and the next day, we step fully into the holy wonder of Christmas. The waiting has prepared us. The anticipation has made room. Now we celebrate the greatest gift ever given.

If this stirs something in your heart and you’ve never said yes to Jesus, or maybe you have, but you know it’s time to come home, can I pray with you right now? Just whisper, “Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. Come into my life, forgive me, lead me. I’m Yours.” That’s it. Everything heaven has been waiting to deliver is already yours the moment you ask.

Welcome! You are now a part of the family of God!

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
