~Mary’s Yes~

18.December.2025

There is something holy about a surrendered heart. Something quiet, powerful, and beautiful. Mary shows us this in a way few others do. She was young, unknown, tucked away in an ordinary village, yet God entrusted her with the extraordinary. Her response was simple, humble, and wholehearted.

“Behold the maidservant of the Lord, let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38

Those words still echo through time. They carry the weight of trust, the depth of surrender, and the courage of obedience. Mary did not have clarity, but she had confidence in the One who called her. She did not know the outcome, but she knew His heart. That was enough.

Her yes changed the whole world.

Mary’s surrender invites us into our own surrender. It reminds us that God does not look for the most qualified, the most visible, or the most prepared. He looks for the willing. The open. The ones who say, Lord, my story is Yours. When we offer Him our yes, He does what only He can do. He breathes purpose into our ordinary days and fills our small acts of obedience with eternal significance.

Surrender is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is quiet and daily. A decision to trust Him instead of worry. A choosing of peace instead of fear. A willingness to release our plans and embrace His. These are the yeses that shape us, the yeses that invite God’s presence into our lives in deeper ways.

As you reflect today, ask yourself: What part of my life is God inviting me to place in His hands? What yes is He gently nudging me toward?

And remember, a surrendered yes does not guarantee an outcome we would have chosen. Mary’s story reminds us of this. God always knows best, yet His will often unfolds in ways we would never script on our own. Have you ever wondered what Mary’s response would have been if she had known the destiny of the child she was about to carry, the joy and the pain, the wonder and the sacrifice? It is an unthinkable responsibility as well as a sacred thought to ponder.

So as you close your day, let your heart sit quietly with this question. And let this song lead you deeper into reflection: Mary Did You Know?

Tomorrow we step into the life of Joseph, a man who obeyed God with quiet courage and steady trust.

If this stirs something in your heart and you’ve never said yes to Jesus, or maybe you have, but you know it’s time to come home, can I pray with you right now? Just whisper, “Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. Come into my life, forgive me, lead me. I’m Yours.” That’s it. Everything heaven has been waiting to deliver is already yours the moment you ask.

Welcome to the family. Your package is signed, sealed, and on its way.
