~Putting Him First This Month~

04.December.2025

Here we are in the final month of the year, a month that whispers of fresh pages even as the calendar runs out. December always arrives carrying possibility, offering us the chance to finish with intention and faith. And something in my spirit keeps saying, “Let this be the best month of the year, a month marked by choosing well, choosing intentionally, choosing to walk daily with Him.”

This time of year can swirl with activity. Shopping, commitments, gatherings, timelines, checklists. Yet the Prince of Peace is never lost in the noise, He is simply waiting for a moment of invitation. Sometimes putting Him first looks small, simple, almost quiet. A whispered prayer before you rise. A verse opened while your coffee brews. A moment of worship instead of worry. A surrender in place of striving. “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you” (James 4:8).

When we choose Him in December, we discover the beauty of a multiplied life. Time stretches, peace deepens, joy rises, and the weight we carried loosens its grip. He does not ask us to perform, He asks us to choose Him, and let His presence reorder everything else.

So what would it look like today…to choose Him first? Not perfectly, not ceremonially, but personally, intentionally, and wholeheartedly?

This is the gift of December. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

What choices will you make today?

If this stirs something in your heart and you’ve never said yes to Jesus, or maybe you have, but you know it’s time to come home, can I pray with you right now? Just whisper, “Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for me and rose again. Come into my life, forgive me, lead me. I’m Yours.” That’s it. Everything heaven has been waiting to deliver is already yours the moment you ask.

Welcome to the family, beloved. The package is signed, sealed, and on its way.

Here is a link to a minister and a ministry I deeply trust. If you make this decision for Christ, they will gladly send you a discipleship packet and help you take your first steps in building a healthy, steady walk with God. They will not badger you or chase you down. They are simply there to support you, encourage you, and guide you. He is a trusted friend, a solid teacher, and someone who can help lay the foundation of truth under your feet as you begin this new journey.
