Here we are in the final month of the year, a month that whispers of a new page and new opportunities even as the calendar runs out. December always arrives carrying possibility, offering us the chance to finish with intention and faith. And something in my spirit keeps saying, “Let this be the best month of the year, a month marked by choosing well, choosing intentionally, choosing to walk daily with Him.”
Hidden dreams often settle quietly in the corners of our hearts, waiting for the right moment to be believed again.
Sometimes the prayers we have prayed are actually assignments God placed in our hands, yet fear or hesitation held us back. However,“God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). This means December is not a month to shrink back, but a month to step forward, trusting that what He has placed in us is more than enough.
So today becomes an invitation, a holy pause, to ask, “What have I been waiting on that God is actually waiting on me to choose?” The year is not over. The page is not closed. And the God who carried you this far invites you to choose courage, hope, obedience, and joy as you finish strong.
This is the gift of December. “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life” (Deuteronomy 30:19).
