~Know Him Daily ~

20.November.2025

There is something tender about walking into quiet moments with God, especially in a world that shouts every detail of our lives from the rooftops. While social media pours out endless confessions, opinions, and snapshots, there is still this sacred space that belongs only to you and your Heavenly Father. Honestly, that space is priceless because you know. Even more beautiful, He knows. Here’s the part we sometimes forget, everyone else can see it too. That inner glow that comes from truly knowing Him cannot be mimicked or manufactured. Intimacy with God has a way of leaking through our words, our expression, our posture, the atmosphere around us. Trying to fake it is like trying to hide the sun. It simply does not work. (The exact opposite is also visible.)

When someone actually knows the One who loved them enough to send His Son for them, not just for their sins but for the sins of the whole world, something changes. When repentance is real and surrender is wholehearted, transformation follows like the dawn follows the night. And that transformation does not stay inside of us, it shines. It settles into our eyes, softens our tone and becomes visible before we even speak a word.

Just like a husband and wife who are deeply committed to one another without performing anything for an audience, their love just shows up. You catch it in their gentleness with each other, in the stillness between them, in their body language that says everything without saying a thing. A Believer who has fully surrendered to their Creator radiates the same undeniable beauty. You can always tell when someone is in love, whether with their spouse or with their Savior. Devotion has a way of lifting their face, steadying their heart, and leaning their whole soul toward the One they love.

And as we wrap up our last series of Faith Giants, there is this one thread that ties them all together. They each had a key factor pulsing beneath every miracle, every choice, every courageous stand. Do you know what it is? Can you trace it through their stories and match it with the scriptures beneath their feet?

Here is something important to remember. The Old Testament heroes did not have the full Bible nor did the New Testament church have what we hold in our hands today. And yet, they stood firm. They endured trials that could have crushed them. They walked in victory where defeat should have swallowed them. How? That is what we are about to dig into together.

Because the way we succeed in life has everything to do with what we do with our thoughts. Our thought life is the steering wheel of our spiritual life. Scripture piles up on this truth.

Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45) and “As he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7)

These verses are not poetic, they are extremely practical. When everything is said and done, it all circles back to one question. What will you choose to do? What will you do with the assignment God has given you, the story He is redeeming in you, the calling He has placed before you? What will you do with your past, your present, and God’s plan for your future.

Deuteronomy 30:19 rises again like a cornerstone in the middle of our path: “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life.”

Every single day we stand at that crossroads. I have felt this so strongly in my own life lately. Old memories, old pains, old labels have tried to circle back and lift their heads again. Not to destroy me, but to demand that I either wrestle with them or speak the Word over them. And honestly, that is the doorway into our next series.

Because allowing old thoughts to sit in our minds, allowing the past to run its fingers across our heart strings again, that is not who we are anymore. That is not even your identity. That is a violation of your salvation. A violation of the freedom Jesus purchased for you.

Before we close, take a moment to let this song wash over your heart as a posture of surrender for what is ahead: “Nothing Else” by Cody Carnes. It is such a beautiful reminder that intimacy with Jesus is not complicated. It is honest. It is yielded. It is real.

As we step into this new journey together, let us set our minds, our thoughts, our whole selves before Him. Let us choose life. Let us choose truth. And let us allow His Word to shape the way we think, the way we respond, and the way we walk forward. The past is not your present. The old you is not your identity. And the future God has planned for you is worth guarding with every thought you choose.

If you’ve never surrendered to Jesus or have strayed, it’s not too late. He’s waiting to restore and renew you. Return to Him today and say this out loud:

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
