~What You Do Matters~

23.September.2025

Your life is telling a story every single day, not just with your words or your thoughts, but through your actions. What you choose to do (or not do) leave marks that ripple far beyond your own lifetime.

James puts it plainly: “Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). Our actions are the evidence of what we believe. If we claim to follow Jesus but our lives show no love, no service, or no obedience, then our faith becomes little more than words. When our actions align with our beliefs, our faith comes alive in ways others can see and feel.

Think of Jesus. The Gospels aren’t just full of what He said, they’re full of what He did. He touched lepers, He fed the hungry, He calmed storms, He healed the broken, and laid down His life. His actions revealed His heart. And ours will too.

It doesn’t have to be something big to matter. A smile, a simple act of kindness, a word of encouragement, a meal shared, a prayer prayed, these are often the things God uses to change lives. And sometimes, they’re the things people remember most about us.

Here’s the challenge: Don’t just think good thoughts or speak good words, live them out. Step into obedience when God nudges you. Serve when it’s inconvenient. Love when it’s hard. Because what you do matters not just to God but the people you influence, and it’s part of the legacy your dash will tell and how the Father speaks to you in heaven (Matthew 25:23).

What story are your daily actions telling right now?

Where might God be nudging you to move from good intuition to faithful action?

Lord, help me live out my faith in tangible ways. Let my actions reflect Your love, my service point to Your heart, and my obedience bring You glory. May my life be more than words, may it be a testimony written in how I live.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.

Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
