~Who You Are Matters~

20.September.2025

When the book of your life is read here on earth, the very first thing people will remember isn’t what you did, but who you were and the mark that you made on their life. Titles fade, achievements get forgotten, money comes and goes. But the essence of who you are—your character, your integrity, your faith, that’s what lingers in hearts and stories long after you’re gone and is what touches the heart of God.

God doesn’t measure success the way the world does. He doesn’t define you by your résumé, your possessions, or even your failures. He defines you by His Son. You are His child, chosen, redeemed, and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12). When your identity is anchored in Christ, everything else flows from that.

That’s why who you are matters. If you’re grounded in Truth, you can withstand storms. If you’re rooted in love, people will experience Jesus through you. If you walk with integrity, your life becomes a living testimony without you even speaking a word.

You get to choose every day (Deuteronomy 30:19) who you become that your dash represents.

If someone described you in one word, what would it be, and is that who you truly want to be remembered as?

Let’s take it a step further: if someone were to write your obituary today, would it reflect the life you want to be known for? Did you live according to what He called you to do—or just what you thought you should do?

Lord, thank You for reminding me that my worth is not in what I do, but in who I am in You. Shape my character to reflect Christ more than culture. Let my dash be marked by integrity, love, and faith that point people to You.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.

Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
