19.September.2025.
I want to start a new series today, one that’s close to my heart. It’s all about the dash. You know the one—on a headstone, between the date you were born and the date you leave this earth. That little line holds everything in between: the choices, the conversations, the relationships, the impact. That dash is your life. And it matters, because you matter to Him!
What you do with your dash isn’t small. Who you are, what you do, what you say, how you think—it all leaves a ripple effect, shaping not just your life, but the lives around you. Your dash reflects your values, your love, your faith, and your courage.
It’s more than just the here and now. Your dash carries eternal weight. Every act of faithfulness, every step of obedience, every word spoken in truth or love is recorded in heaven. Scripture reminds us that our works follow us (Revelation 14:13) and that one day, we will stand before the Lord to receive rewards for what we have done (2 Corinthians 5:10). What we do on this earth echoes forever—it shapes the legacy we leave behind for others, and it determines the eternal rewards we will one day lay at Jesus’ feet.
This series is all about that dash—about how much it matters. Over the next several posts, we’ll walk through some simple but profound truths:
• Who you are matters.
• What you do matters.
• What you say matters.
• What you think matters.
• How you love matters.
And finally, we’ll land on a sobering but hope-filled question: What do you want your dash to say? What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind?
Friend, your life is not accidental. Your dash is not meaningless. You were created with purpose, equipped with gifts, and placed here in this moment of history for a reason. My prayer is that this series helps us all step back, take inventory, and lean into living our dash well—for God’s glory and for the good of those who come after us.
When others look back on your “dash,” what do you hope they’ll remember most?
Don’t Blink by Kenny Chesney—a reminder that life moves faster than we think. Every moment matters. Every choice counts. Your dash is being written today.

Lord, thank You for the gift of life—for the dash between my first day and my last. Teach me to number my days, to live with wisdom, and to make choices that reflect Your heart. Let my life matter in ways that honor You and bless others, both now and for eternity.
If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
See you tomorrow!
