It’s one thing to know the gospel, it’s another to share it in a way that connects to someone’s heart. That’s why our personal testimony is so powerful. It’s not just “Bible truth” in theory, it’s Bible truth lived out in you.
At some point, every believer should be able to give what’s called an “elevator testimony” — a version of your story that you can share in the short time it takes for someone to ride an elevator. The goal? By the time they step off, they’re curious, encouraged, and hungry to know more about Jesus.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” ~Revelation 12:11~
This past weekend, I was honored to spend time with 25 incredible volunteers. There was a core group who prayed together before the outreach, served during it, and stayed afterward to encourage one another.
Following the outreach the same core group went out to dinner, and you guessed it, they shared their faith with the waitress. I will be sharing those tomorrow, so look for them.
If you’ve never surrendered your life to Jesus, I encourage you to scroll to the bottom right now, pray the prayer there, and ask Him to be your Lord. Then, come back here and keep reading.
If you just prayed that prayer, congratulations! You’ve made the best decision you will ever make.
Now, it’s time for all of us, whether you’re a brand-new believer or you’ve been walking with God for years, to take a few minutes and write our own “elevator testimony.”
If you’d like help with yours, email me. I would be honored to walk you through it.
And remember, the command in Mark 16:15 to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel” was given to every believer, not just pastors, missionaries, or those listed in Ephesians 4:11. If you belong to Jesus, you’re called to share Him.
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” ~Mark 16:15~

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
