~Armor-Piercing Faith – More Ammo Unlocked~

Part 4b: Faith, the Name & Prayer

You are not defenseless. God has loaded your spiritual arsenal—and today we’re unlocking three of the most misunderstood and misused weapons.

Our next weapon is our faith which we understand to be our shield and our firepower.

Faith isn’t a passive belief—it’s active both in defense and in offense. It blocks. It resists. It refuses to back down.

it’s so important that we understand that we all begin with the exact same amount of faith. Faith grows//comes by hearing the Word and we are responsible to use the faith God gave us, so it will grow.

“For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.” ~Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬~

When everything screams “It’s over,” faith boldly says, “God’s not done.”

“Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.” ~Ephesians 6:16 (NKJV)~

The fourth weapon that I want to talk about is the name of Jesus. This is our authority that we get to put into action.

You don’t just pray in Jesus’ name because it sounds nice. His name is your legal badge of access and dominion.

“At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth…” ~Philippians 2:10 (NLT)~

It’s not magic—it’s legal power. Consider it an honor to represent Him when you do. Use the name of Jesus when you pray, not just “in His name.” Use it when you resist the enemy. Use it in worship and intercession.

Finally, we have the honor of intimate communication with the Father in Jesus name and it’s called prayer. This, is your strategy room. It should be tangible.

There is a powerful scene in the movie War Room (2015), directed by Alex Kendrick where a pastor and his wife are touring the house that Miss Clara is selling. When he steps into her prayer closet, a small, dedicated space where she’s spent years in deep prayer, he pauses, looks around, steps back out, and then steps in again. With a quiet, awed expression, he says:

“Someone’s been praying in this closet. It’s almost like it’s… baked in.”

This communicates that the presence of God is so strong in that room, due to years of sincere intercession and warfare prayer, that it has a tangible, spiritual residue. It shows how spiritual disciplines leave an imprint, and how the spiritual realm can be felt even in the physical.

Prayer is not a spare tire, it’s not a crutch, it’s your launchpad. It’s where heaven’s strategy gets revealed, and changes things.

“The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” ~James 5:16 (NLT)~

Pray in the Spirit. Pray with boldness. Pray like lives depend on it…because sometimes they do.

Today, I’d like to challenge us to write out a declaration of faith, something we desire to see transformed in our lives and then speak it; consider a seemingly insurmountable situation and speak the name of Jesus over that situation with authority; and most importantly, spend 10 minutes for Spirit-led prayer. No filter. Just warfare.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus— or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way-it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.

Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
