~ Saturated in Him ~

16.June.2025

The other day, when I went to the waterfall, it was chilly, and I hadn’t anticipated how the spray would completely cover me as I stood nearby. It caught me off guard, that powerful mist, the closeness of the water, and the way it soaked my clothes, my hair and my face. I couldn’t help but wonder…what if I stepped all the way in to the overspray? What if I walked right behind it, letting the mist and overspray cover me until I was completely saturated?

“Let my teaching fall on you like rain; let my speech settle like dew. Let my words fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants. He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!” Deuteronomy‬ ‭32‬:‭2‬, ‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Just then, I saw a couple who had clearly come prepared, minimal clothing and full intention. After pausing where I stood, they walked behind the waterfall and let the overspray completely cover them.

“But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

It struck me: that’s exactly how I want to be with God’s Word and His presence. Not just catching the spray from a distance, not just reading a verse here or whispering a quick prayer there, but stepping in fully. Immersed. Saturated. Covered in Him.

When we spend time in His presence, loving Him, listening for His voice, and feeding on His Word, we begin to see clearly that what He says is true, not just in theory, but personally, for you and for me. The only thing required of us is to agree with Him, to receive His Word, believe it, and to speak it, living it out in our lives daily.

We must choose not to let our thoughts wander into doubt or fear. We must resist the urge to rely on what we see in the natural, remembering instead that we are spirit beings living in physical bodies. What matters most is what is true in the Word, what He tells us is Truth.

The Word of God is like water: it will cleanse, refresh, and fill everything it touches, if we will just step into the flow. Author Unknown

Today, I encourage you, don’t settle for a mist of His presence. Step into the waterfall. Let yourself be fully covered, fully convinced, and fully changed.

I’ve added a link to a powerful worship song, let it draw you deeper as you spend time with Him.

If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
