There are times when God calls us to step into the unknown without a map, a plan, or a clear outcome. That was Abraham and Sarah’s story. “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.” (Hebrews 11:8)
It sounds so simple when we read it now, but it was anything but simple. Abraham was asked to leave everything familiar, his home, his land, his extended family, his comfort, and to go to a place God would show him later. Sarah followed her husband into a land she had never seen, trusting a promise that seemed impossible. Their obedience was not built on what they understood, but on Who they trusted.
Every act of obedience begins where certainty ends. Faith does not need the full picture, it just needs the next step. Sometimes obedience is not about where you are going, but about who you are becoming along the way. Abraham and Sarah’s faith was refined in the waiting, stretched in the testing, and rewarded in God’s perfect time.
When God asks you to move, to forgive, to surrender, to trust, even when you do not understand, remember that the unknown to you is fully known to Him. What feels uncertain is already settled in His plan.
If your steps feel shaky or the road ahead is hidden, take heart. The unknown to you is already known to Him. Let the words of “Trust in God” by Brandon Lake settle over your soul like a steady hand on your shoulder.

“He’s never failed me yet, I’ll keep trusting in God.”
The same God who guided Abraham and Sarah is guiding you now. He does not need you to see the path ahead, only to take His hand and walk with Him in faith.
If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
