Jesus said, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). This isn’t just a promise to comfort us when life gets hard — it is the very key to our victory. Without intimacy with Him, without knowing who we are in Him, everything else falls flat. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13 that without love, we are nothing more than a clanging cymbal. That love begins with Him. To love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength is the foundation of living in His presence.
The Word tells us that Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14). Every page of Scripture carries His life, His breath, His authority. This is why the Bible says His Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). When we yield to the Spirit within us, when His Word fills our hearts and comes alive on our lips, His authority flows through us. But we cannot walk in that kind of power without knowing Him deeply and personally.
His presence is not meant to be occasional or reserved for a Sunday service. It is the daily reality of walking with Him, moment by moment, knowing who we are in Him. When we choose intimacy with Jesus, we choose victory. We stop living miracle to miracle and start living presence to presence. And in that place, nothing can shake us.
Lord, thank You that Your presence is more than a moment, it is my life. Draw me closer into intimacy with You so I may walk in Your authority and power. Let Your Word be alive in me, sharper than any two-edged sword, and may I live every day fully aware that You are with me and in me. Teach me to rest in that truth and to live as Your vessel, carrying Your presence everywhere I go.
If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
