The foundation for today is clear, “By His wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24). Notice the tense, it’s already finished. Healing is not a future hope to be earned; it is a present reality we live from as children of God.
God’s desire is not that we live to be healed, waiting for the next miracle to come and validate our faith. No, His desire is that we live healthy, whole, and strong. Healing is not just an event; it is a position we occupy in Jesus. When Jesus bore our pain, sickness, and brokenness, He didn’t just carry it for a moment, He carried it so that we could walk free from it now.
Too often, we measure our healing by what we feel or see, and we let circumstances dictate whether we believe we are whole. But God calls us to live from His promises, not our perception. As 2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Walking in this reality requires faith, trust, and obedience.
I’ll be honest, this is a journey I’m learning to walk myself. There are days when doubt sneaks in, when the evidence of my eyes doesn’t match the truth of God’s Word. And yet, step by step, I am learning what it looks like to stand firm in the promise, to walk as one who is healthy, whole, and strong even when I don’t feel it. I share this because I want to walk alongside you, encouraging each other as we grow in faith.
The question today is simple: are you living as one who is already healed, or are you still hoping for a miracle to confirm it? Remember, His Word never fails, and His promises are true. You do not need to wait. You are healed. You are whole. You are strong.
Lord, thank You for the healing You have already provided. Help me to live in the fullness of Your promises today, walking as one who is healthy, whole, and strong. Teach me to reject doubt, to trust Your Word above my feelings, and to embrace the freedom You have purchased for me. Let every area of my life reflect the reality of Your healing, and let me walk by faith and not by sight.
If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
