~Fighting From Victory, Not For It~

15.September.2025

Too often we live like we’re still trying to win a battle that’s already been decided. We pray, fast, and strive as though the outcome rests on our shoulders. But the truth of the gospel is this: Jesus has already won.

Colossians 2:15 says:

“And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

Victory isn’t something you have to chase, it’s something you already stand in. When you said yes to Jesus, His triumph became your foundation. You don’t fight for victory; you fight from victory.

That means when opposition comes:

  • You don’t panic, you remember the enemy is already defeated.
  • You don’t retreat, you stand firm, clothed in God’s armor (Ephesians 6:13).
  • You don’t beg God for breakthrough, you declare what Jesus has already paid for.

The enemy’s strategy is to make you forget the truth, to wear you down until you live as if you’ve lost. The reality is, you’re not trying to earn victory, you’re walking it out. Every step of obedience is a declaration: “Jesus has already overcome!”

Where in your life have you been striving to earn victory, instead of standing in the truth that Jesus has already won it for you?

Lord, thank You that I never fight alone and never fight from defeat. You’ve already triumphed over the enemy, and You’ve given me authority to walk in that victory. Teach me to stand firm, speak truth, and live each day from the confidence of what You’ve already finished on the cross.

As you step boldly into your authority, let “See a Victory” be your anthem. Sing it as a declaration that every battle belongs to the Lord—and you already stand in His triumph.

Make today count and I’ll see you tomorrow!
