~Strength Beyond Ourselves~

24.August.2025

When the noise is silenced and our hearts are still before Jesus, we often discover that He asks something of us that goes far beyond what we can do in our own strength. His leading will stretch us, challenge us, and sometimes feel impossible. And that is the point.

God never intended us to carry out His will by our natural ability. If we attempt it in our own power, we will fall short. But when we lean wholly on Him, surrendered and dependent, His Spirit empowers us to accomplish what we never could on our own.

The Lord declared this through the prophet Zechariah:

“‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” ~Zechariah 4:6 NKJV~

Paul reminds us of the beauty of weakness:

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Jesus may rest upon me.” ~2 Corinthians 12:9 ESV~

And the ultimate call to surrender is seen in Revelation echoing Galatians 2:20:

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” ~Revelation 12:11 NKJV~

Notice carefully: it says their victory comes not just by the blood of Jesus and the Word we speak, but because they were willing to let go of their lives. They surrendered all that was precious.

We, too, must be willing to release everything we hold dear, our comfort, our plans, even our own understanding, so that Jesus can entrust us with His everything. Surrender is not weakness; it is the pathway to supernatural empowerment and trust from God Himself.

“I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me.” ~Philippians 4:13 NKJV~

The key is not trying harder, but yielding deeper. Our role is surrender; His role is to empower. Full surrender opens the door for full victory.

What He speaks may be beyond you, but His Spirit empowers you to walk it out.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.

Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
