~What Can’t Be Shaken~

17.August.2025

Yesterday we talked about how our sacrifices of faith are gifts to God that we can only give Him here and now. But there’s something else to consider: those very sacrifices are not forgotten, they echo into eternity.

Hebrews 12:28 says, “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”

Every time you choose to trust God when it costs you, you’re laying hold of something that will never be shaken. Money fades, possessions vanish, even human recognition slips away. But the obedience of faith is written in heaven’s record forever. ~Malachi 3:16~

Think about that: in the midst of tears, when you lift your voice in praise, it’s eternal. When you forgive instead of holding on to offense, that obedience is eternal. When you give beyond reason or what is logical because God asked, it is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:17 reminds us, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.”

What we offer Him in this small window of time becomes weighty, everlasting treasure. It may feel costly now, but in heaven, it will resound as worship forever.

So let’s choose today to live in a way that invests in eternity. Because faith that costs something here will become glory that shines there.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
