~A Gift You Can Only Give God Now~

16.August.2025

Let me tell you something that will not be in heaven: no more sorrow, no more tears, no more pain, no more loss, no more heartache. And, are you ready for this? No more faith. ~Revelation 21:4~

Why? Because faith is the evidence of things not seen ~Hebrews 11:1~ and in heaven, we will see Him face-to-face. ~1 Corinthians 13:12~ Everything will be provided for, every need met, every promise fulfilled. There will be nothing left to believe for, only perfect reality in the presence of God.

That means something very profound: here on earth, in this short window of time we have, we can give God something we will never be able to give Him in eternity, faith-filled sacrifice.

When we obey Him in a way that costs us, emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, or financially, we’re offering Him a gift we cannot give Him in heaven. Hebrews 13:15 says, “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.”

Think of Abraham, who was willing to sacrifice Isaac simply because God asked Genesis 22. Think of the widow who gave her last two coins. ~Mark 12:41-44~ These acts weren’t convenient; they required deep trust in the Father.

In heaven, there will be no need for a “sacrifice of praise,” because praise will flow without hindrance. There will be no need for forgiving someone who hurt you, because there will be no offense. There will be no need to give beyond what seems possible, because we will lack nothing.

But now, right here, right now, when we give generously, forgive deeply, obey quickly, and worship through tears, it is precious to God. Psalm 51:17 says, “The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”

Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” ~Matthew 6:10~ Heaven’s reality should shape how we live now. We can choose to live in such a way that we honor God with everything we are—holding nothing back, because this is the only time we will ever be able to give Him this kind of faith.

So the next time you feel led to give a large offering that seems impossible…

Or to help someone in a way that stretches you…

Or to forgive the one who wounded you deeply…

Remember, you’re giving God something eternal that will go on record before Him forever. ~Malachi 3:16~

Do it quickly. Do it joyfully. Do it without reservation. And to do that, you must become skillful at hearing His voice. Perhaps that’s where we’ll go next, learning how to recognize the voice of God.

Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
