“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” ~Revelation 12:11 KJV~
Over the past few days, I’ve been reminded of just how powerful our stories are. Each of us had the opportunity to share our “elevator testimonies” with the waitress at the Italian restaurant..
Why am I sharing these? Because your personal story can do something that facts, statistics, and even persuasive arguments can’t, it can slip past someone’s defenses and speak straight to their heart.
When you tell someone what Jesus has done for you, you’re giving them living proof that He is real, that He is good, and that He is still in the business of changing lives today.
Friend, your story matters. Whether it’s two minutes or twenty, it’s yours, and it’s a key God can use to unlock someone else’s prison door. Don’t underestimate the ripple effect your words can have when they are soaked in love, truth, and the reality of your life touched by Jesus.
If you haven’t written down your own testimony yet, I encourage you to start today. Keep it simple, keep it personal, and keep it centered on Jesus. You never know whose eternity may be changed because you were willing to share.
“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples!” ~Psalm 96:3 NIV~
These posts have turned out longer than I expected, so I divided them up, and share the testimonies for tomorrow. 😉 In the meantime, let me leave you with a little food for thought.
If you’ve ever wondered whether your story is “enough” to make a difference, if you’ve ever questioned whether it could really impact someone, stop and remember Who asked you to share it.
God knows you. He knows your life in detail. every victory, every failure, every scar, every moment of His grace. And if He is prompting you to tell your story to someone (Lord knows the devil won’t!), it’s because He knows that specific person needs to hear it…at that moment.
Your testimony may be the very seed He intends to plant in their heart, a seed He’s been preparing the soil for all along. Think about that…
So don’t hold back. Share it in love, and trust Him to do what only He can do through you.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
