Yesterday threw me off. My blog is late—and honestly, that in itself speaks volumes. It’s a reminder that our lives must be anchored in complete confidence in God, His plan, His timing, and His purpose. Even when things don’t unfold the way we expected, our trust must remain in Him. But trust doesn’t mean passivity. We must also be wise and spiritually aware, taking authority over any demonic interference. Attacks are real, but they are not the final word. Jesus gave us authority for a reason. We are not powerless.
After the disruption, I had to ask myself an honest question:
Did I run my plans by Him?
Did I confirm that the things I was intending to do were things He wanted me to do, at that specific moment?
When we live a surrendered life, we allow Him to gently lead us. And that leading can be more specific and significant than we realize. It can be as simple, and as critical, as what shirt you wear. Think about it: the right shirt might cause someone to recognize you and offer favor; the wrong one might lead to a misunderstanding or even harm.
That’s how precise the Holy Spirit’s leading can be when we’re fully surrendered. So, last night and this morning, I spent time with the Lord, visiting and revisiting my plans. Asking: Do these align with what You want for me today? Do they need to be altered?
Maybe this is a challenge I can put out to all of us. As we walk through this journey of intimacy with God, it’s vital that we remain hidden with Christ in God.
“For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God.”
~Colossians 3:3 NLT~
That’s a powerful scripture that says just that, we are hidden with Christ in God. Picture it like being covered by a sheet. If you’re hidden beneath it, can the enemy see you? No. All he sees is Jesus. And Jesus already defeated him. So why would the enemy keep attacking if it’s futile?
The only time the enemy has any success is when we step out from under that covering—when we run ahead with our own plans, when we forget to surrender, when we open up our mouths with disbelief, fear, doubt, etc. Keep it zipped.
Today, let’s pause. Let’s surrender again.
Let’s take the time to hear His voice, seek His plans, and submit ours in exchange.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” ~Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT~
There’s no safer place to be than hidden in Him.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
