~Know Him Daily~

04.August.2025

Over the past month, my posts have danced around a variety of topics, but underneath it all, there’s been a steady undertone. One truth that keeps surfacing again and again: we are called to know Him—not just know about Him, not just acknowledge Him a couple of times a week—but to know Him daily.

There’s actually a funny little acronym—CEO Christians. It stands for Christmas and Easter Only. Funny, right? But also not-so-funny when you realize how many believers live like that. Some go a bit further and attend on Sundays and Wednesdays, but even then, many are still feeding on a watered-down version of truth that never really calls them into deep intimacy.

I need to tell you something that may sound bold, but it’s true:

Just going to church—even faithfully—is not what He wants.

He wants you. He wants me.

He wants our hearts, our thoughts, our moments, our mornings… our lives.

Every single day.

Think of the first part of your day like a tithe—a tithe of your time. Before the busyness takes over, before the noise creeps in, give Him the first. Let that be your offering. Sit at His feet, open His Word, worship, be still. Let Him know you. Let Him speak into your day before anyone else does.

Jesus gave us a warning: “Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” ~Matthew7:23 ESV~

That verse isn’t meant to scare us—it’s meant to sober us. It reminds us that relationship is the goal. Knowing Him, and being known by Him. It’s not about outward appearances or religious checklists. It’s about intimacy.

Paul wrote: “…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death…” ~Philippians 3:10 NKJV~

Faith is agreeing with what the Word says and not coming off of it, no matter what circumstances scream back at you. The Bible asks, “Can two walk together unless they agree?” ~Amos 3:3~

The answer is simple: no.

Agreement is the foundation for relationship. In any meaningful connection—whether marriage, business, or friendship—there has to be a meeting of the minds. That’s a legal term meaning both parties fully understand and accept the terms. They’re on the same page.

That’s what God is inviting us into: a daily walk of agreement with Him.

Not out of obligation. But out of intimacy. Out of trust. Out of love.

Let Him lead. Let His voice be the first and loudest. Don’t settle for shallow faith or secondhand sermons. Know Him for yourself.

And more importantly—live in such a way that He knows you.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.

Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
