“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope.” ~Jeremiah 29:11~
God’s plans are always good. His will is perfect, full of hope, peace, and purpose. But He will never force His plan on us.
God has a “Plan A” for your life—crafted with love and wisdom before you were ever born (Ephesians 2:10). But unlike a dictator, God doesn’t override your will to get it done. Instead, He waits. He invites. He draws. He places the map before you and says, “This is the way—walk in it.” But whether you do or not is up to you.
This is where trust and surrender come in. So many people walk out Plan B or Plan C not because God changed His mind, but because they never gave Him their full yes. Others delay the best of God’s intention for years—not because God was silent, but because fear or self-reliance kept them from obeying the next step.
The beauty of God’s character is this: He’s not just the Author of plans; He’s the Redeemer when we detour.
Even when we’ve wandered off course, He doesn’t throw the book away. He weaves our mistakes into mercy, our delays into grace, and still extends the invitation to come into alignment with His best. But if we want to walk in His perfect plan, we must choose it. Daily. Boldly. Willingly.
God’s perfect will doesn’t happen automatically. It’s not imposed—it’s partnered with.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” ~Ephesians 2:10 NLT~
“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land.” ~Isaiah 1:19 NKJV~
Have you ever settled for Plan B because Plan A felt too risky or too costly? What would it look like to fully say yes today—even without knowing what comes next?
Father, I want Your perfect plan for my life—not a safer version, not a delayed version. Help me to surrender my fears, my timelines, and my preferences. I choose to trust You. I choose to say yes.
“So I lay down my every expectation / I’ll open up my hands / Let go and let You have Your way.” This gentle yet bold declaration captures the heart posture of letting go so that God’s original plan can unfold—step by step. Our responsibility is to believe.
If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
