Day 6: Come in Prayer
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” ~Philippians 4:6 (ESV)~
Sometimes we overcomplicate prayer. We wait for the right moment, the right setting, the right words. But prayer isn’t performance, it’s a conversation. It’s real. It’s relational. It’s the open door to pour out your heart to the One who already sees it.
God invites us to come in prayer about everything. Not just the big things. Not just the spiritual things. Everything. He says, “Talk to Me. Bring Me your anxious thoughts, your longings, your questions, your needs, and your desires.”
And here’s the promise—when we come in prayer, His peace comes too.
“And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”~Philippians 4:7~
We don’t have to use big words or get the phrasing just right. We can whisper. We can cry. We can sit in silence. He hears.
Prayer is the place where burdens lift and hearts are held. It’s how we draw near to the Father not just once a day, but throughout the day. It reminds us we’re not alone.

Lord, thank You that I can talk to You about anything. Help me not to hold back or withdraw. Teach me to pray simply, boldly, and constantly. Let my first response always be to run to You.
Have you been trying to carry things alone that God wants to carry with you? What would change if you talked to Him first instead of last?
If you’ve never given your life to Jesus— or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way-it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
