Part 2: Lies, Accusation & Fear – The Enemy’s Easiest Armor
The enemy doesn’t show up in red horns with a pitchfork, he shows up in a thought.
And that thought usually comes disguised as truth, but it’s not. It’s poison.
It’s subtle. It’s repetitive. It’s persistent. And it’s his easiest armor to hide behind. If you don’t recognize it, you’ll agree with it. If you agree with it, you’ll empower it.
And that’s how strongholds are built.
He uses lies. “You’re not enough.” or “God’s not going to come through.” or “Did God really say…?”
Sound familiar? That’s his voice, not yours and definitely not God’s!
“He was a murderer from the beginning…for he is a liar and the father of lies.” ~John 8:44 (NLT)~
Lies are the enemy’s native language. He twists God’s truth just enough to confuse your identity and blur your view of God’s character.
But here’s the thing: Truth (God’s Word) is armor-piercing.
The moment Truth steps in, the lie loses power.
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” ~John 8:32 (NIV)~
He Accuses us. If he can’t get you with lies, he’ll throw your past in your face.
“You knew better.” or “You failed again.” or “You’ll never be like them, they were raised by godly parents.”
The enemy uses your memory as a weapon—hoping you’ll bow under the guilt and shame. But you’ve got something more powerful than memory:
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” ~Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)~
The blood of Jesus has the final word.
Your past is not your future. And the accuser can’t argue with what’s been washed.
He works to cause us to fear. Fear is his favorite weapon. Why? Because it paralyzes.
“What if this never changes?” or “What if I lose everything?” or “What if God doesn’t come through?”
But the Word shuts that noise all down:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” ~2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)~
You weren’t built for fear. You were built for power.
Fear is not your friend. And it’s not neutral. It’s bondage in disguise.
Let’s recap. The devil hides behind three cheap shields: Lies: masked as your thoughts, Accusation: disguised as conviction, or Fear: disguised as caution.
These seem strong—but they collapse under truth, grace, and faith.
Today is the 4th of July. As we fight spiritual battles in faith, let’s pause to honor the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom in the natural — past, present, and future.
Your sacrifice is not forgotten. We are grateful. We are free.
May God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America.

If you’ve never given your life to Jesus, or if you’ve walked away, trying to do life your own way-it’s not too late. He’s calling you back. He’s been waiting.
Return to Him today. Surrender your plans, your pain, and your past. He’s ready to restore, renew, and realign you with your divine purpose.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
