12.June.2025 (Happy Birthday to my dear friend today! ~ Truth)
Ever played Two Truths and a Lie? I have, and today’s adventures kind of felt like a round of it. So let’s play. I’ll give you three snapshots:
- An Irish Fast Ferry
- A coffee roaster with a bird-saving mission
- Apple pie with tea that might just beat your grandma’s

Which one’s the curveball? Or maybe they’re all true? Stay tuned…
While this may come across as lighthearted or even humorous at first glance, I can assure you, God does not treat this subject casually. It matters to Him. His heart regarding the integrity of our word is unwavering, because He Himself never changes (Malachi 3:6; James 1:17). There is no variation in Him, not even a shadow of turning.
As those who are called to reflect and echo Jesus, we must take His Word seriously. This is a call to examine our hearts and make intentional, lasting changes, setting ourselves apart for the Truth found in Scripture. It’s about allowing our minds to be renewed by the Word of God and then choosing to walk that Truth out daily, without compromise. This isn’t about striving in our own strength, but about yielding to the Holy Spirit, trusting that His way is always right, and always best.
Believing something doesn’t make it true.
Deception // Believing that a lie is true.
If you knew you were deceived, you wouldn’t be. If you’re deceived, you don’t know you’re deceived. Isn’t that one of the greatest dangers of deception?!
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
James 1:22 ESV
When someone is deceived, do they know it?
So who did it to them? The devil?!
No! They did. I did. You did.
Don’t get me wrong, the enemy will do every thing he can to get you to believe a lie. And, when he cannot, he will try to get you to procrastinate, hoping you will begin to doubt what God told you, either in His Word or in your spirit.
“The Holy Spirit…will teach you all things and remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26
“It’s dangerous not to walk in the light that you have.” Author Unknown
If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Number One and Number Two are true. However, Number Three is called “Apple Cake” in Ireland, not pie. So, in Ireland, it wouldn’t be true—but in the United States, it would be. So, which one is actually true? Does one cancel out the other and make it a lie?
Thankfully, the Bible isn’t speculative like that. It’s not subject to cultural differences or personal opinions, it is the Truth. And what’s even more amazing is how Scripture confirms itself: “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established” (2 Corinthians 13:1, Deuteronomy 19:15). There’s no contradiction, no confusion…just Truth that stands firm, no matter where you are.Number One and Two are true. However, Number Three is called “Apple Cake” in Ireland, not pie. Therefore, in Ireland it would not be true, but in the United States, it would be. So, which one is true?! Does one make the other a lie? Thankfully, the Bible is not speculative, it is the Truth.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
