Knowing Him Daily

When we truly grasp all that the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit went through for us, how could we give Him anything less than our full devotion? Why would we settle for anything but the Father’s Plan A? He sees the end from the beginning. He hasn’t just counted the hairs on your head, He’s numbered them. Think about that…every single one.

As I’ve shared before, we are spirit beings first. Our bodies and minds must come into alignment with our spirit. The spirit leads, and when we take our rightful place and take command, everything else follows.

Now to today’s focus: It is vital that we hear His voice.

“Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” John 10:5 NKJV

How do we recognize His voice?

His voice sounds like His Word, the Bible. That’s why it’s so important that we read it and ponder on it throughout the day. Not just in the morning. Not just when we feel like it. All day.

Look at this in Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT): “Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”

Do you see it? He gives us strength.

Let’s take time today not only to talk to Him, but also to be still and listen for His voice. Let’s practice knowing Him, daily, intentionally.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
