We are the Bride of Christ. This is not something we merely admire from a distance, it’s a divine reality we step into with awe.
“I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me, In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy.” Hosea 2:19
To be betrothed is to be chosen, set apart, and bound in covenant love. This is not a passing affection—it is an eternal vow. The King has extended His hand, not out of obligation, but out of passionate, steadfast love.
Just yesterday, after finishing my blog post, I met someone who shared their story with me. They had been married to their best friend—the love of their life—since they were teenagers. Sadly, their spouse passed unexpectedly about a year ago.
Their marriage sounded like a rare and beautiful gift. God was first, and they held each other second only to Him. It was the kind of covenant relationship that reflected His heart: a deep friendship, unwavering love, and sacred unity.
My heart aches and hopes for them. I pray they receive every good thing the Father has in store—that having once tasted that kind of love, they’ll never settle for anything less.
When He chose you, He committed to crown you. Author Unknown
His choice was not just to love you, but to elevate you—to share His name, His kingdom, and His authority. You are not just saved; you are spoken for. You are not just redeemed; you are royalty—not only when we are in heaven, but now.
“For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6 NLT
He has clothed us in righteousness. He has covered us in mercy. He has called us His own.
May we discover this kind of love with Him today—deeper than we’ve ever known, richer than we’ve ever imagined.
Please take a moment to be still and let this Truth settle deep within you as you listen to “My Beloved” by Kari Jobe. Let Him sing over you. Let His love wash over you.
My prayer is that today, you truly realize how deeply He loves you!
If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.
~ Dear Heavenly Father ~
Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
Make today count and see you tomorrow.
