Knowing Him Daily

The Bible is God’s love for us and all of mankind, past, present, and future, from the Table of Contents all the way through the Maps. It is the complete expression of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit for and toward us.

In fact, on the Cross, Jesus said what?! Oh yes! IT IS FINISHED! Friends, do you have any idea what He meant by those three words? Just exactly what it states. Everything that He came to do, He did—and He was done.

“Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another— He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬-‭27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Bible says His blood was our atonement and propitiation, “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood…” Romans 3:25 (KJV), which means our Father now sees those of us who have received Jesus as the propitiation for our sins (past, present, and future) as completely forgiven. But do you know what else He did? He now sits at the right hand of His (and our) Father. Why? Because He sent His Holy Spirit to be our Guide, our Comforter—He is the Helper, our EVERYTHING!

Do you know what else?! The King, God our Father, gave it all to us! When a king gets married, his kingdom becomes hers, his wealth becomes hers, his property becomes hers, AND his authority to exercise…becomes hers! This is our possession, our position, our power as Believers. We just inherited everything we need.

The “church,” as many of us have known it, has zero knowledge, acknowledgment, and therefore no understanding of, nor experience with their God-given, Jesus-sacrificed authority.

Let me ask you: does a queen, given authority and power by her king, have any less authority and power because she doesn’t step into it and own what her marriage and her husband gave her? No! She simply must accept it, truly receive it in her mind, as it is a mindset that she is now royalty and understands that she has been given all authority and power in that kingdom.

This is us brothers and sisters in Jesus! We are now royalty and we must accept all that is written to step into and receive all that we’ve been given.

He has done all he’s going to do and now it is your turn, your move because of the position he is giving you as a believer.

I’d like to recommend that you take time today, if possible, to sit down and write down anything or anyone that has been a barrier between you and your Daddy (if that term has a catch in your soul, then that’s where you begin—because He wants to be your loving Father!). This is a process. Leave open a chunk of time because you may need it, and it will bring healing to your soul. Take that list, those experiences, people, and anything from your past or present that is holding you back, that you have written down, and destroy it. I highly recommend burning it if you have the ability to do so, even if it’s in a pot in your kitchen or in your backyard. There’s something about burning it that is so cleansing.

Allow me to share with you that when you’ve completed this process (and depending upon the hurt you experienced in life, it may be long or require more than one session, don’t be afraid of that), you will feel release and the closest to God that you’ve ever experienced before. Those things will hold you back should you choose not to let them go. So please, let them go and run to Him!

If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today. The process I mentioned can only truly be healing when completed as a Believer.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.
