~ Lavished in Love ~

28.May.2025

“SEE WHAT [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.” 1 John‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

There’s a moment in every believer’s journey where everything changes. Not outwardly, perhaps, but deep within, at the very core of who we are. It’s the moment we realize that we’ve been called, not by status, not by achievements, and certainly not by the approval of this world, but by the Creator of the universe Himself. This is our defining moment: we actively choose the agapē of God.

How profound is that? The world, with its striving and performance, cannot comprehend the love that chose us before we could ever choose it. A love not measured in drops or doled out in limited measure, but lavished, overflowing and unrestricted.

As Smith Wigglesworth once said, “God doesn’t measure love in drops. He pours it out lavishly.” And that is not an exaggeration; it’s truth grounded in the very Word of God:

“In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches and the generosity of His gracious favor, which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence).” ~Ephesians 1:7–8 AMPC~

Because of Jesus, we live from a place of authority, not earned, but gifted through redemption. Our sins are forgiven, our failures covered, and our lives infused with His Divine insight and wisdom. We walk as sons and daughters, named by God Himself, sealed, and set apart.

This lavish love is not passive. It’s powerful. It redefines us. It silences shame. It overrules every lie the world would dare to speak about our worth. And from that Truth, we live and lead, not in arrogance, but in bold humility, knowing who we are and Whose we are.

So today, let your heart rest in this: You are not forgotten, not forsaken, and certainly not defined by the world’s standards. You are defined by a Father who engineered the universe and still chose to call you His own. In Jesus, you walk in the fullness of redemption, authority, and love, lavished without limit.

Live from that love. Lead from that authority. And let the world see who your Father truly is.

You Are Loved…

If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
