~ Love That Restores Identity ~

25.May.2025

There is a divine shift happening…can you feel it? A holy awakening to who we are in Christ Jesus. Not who the world says we are. Not who our past claims we are. But who God, the Author of identity, says we are. And He has spoken: we are redeemed, restored, and crowned with double honor.

“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,
And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.
Therefore in their land they shall possess double;
Everlasting joy shall be theirs.” ~ Isaiah 61:7 (NKJV) ~

This isn’t just poetic; it’s His promise. A declaration that the shame of yesterday has no jurisdiction over your tomorrow. In Jesus, we don’t walk with heads bowed low, burdened by guilt and confusion. We walk with heads lifted high, clothed in righteousness, confident in our portion. There is a double portion with your name on it, not because of what you’ve done, but because of whose you are.

Just like Zacchaeus in Luke 19, we may have once been hidden, disqualified by the crowd, marked by our past. But then Jesus called our name.

“And Jesus said to him, ‘Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.’” ~ Luke 19:9 (NKJV) ~

Zacchaeus wasn’t just forgiven, he was restored. Jesus didn’t just clean his slate; He reaffirmed his identity. “He also is a son of Abraham.” In other words: he belongs. He’s part of the promise. And so are you.

In Jesus, you are a child of the covenant. A joint heir. A royal priesthood. The same Jesus who saw beyond Zacchaeus’ mistakes sees beyond yours. You’re not merely invited in, you inherit. You don’t beg for scraps, you rejoice in a Divine portion.

“God doesn’t just forgive your past—He restores your purpose.”
~ Christine Caine ~

Restoration isn’t about getting back what was lost. It’s about receiving what only God can give, better than what was taken, greater than what was broken. Double honor. Everlasting joy. Purpose reborn.

Today, walk like one who knows their inheritance. Speak like one who holds authority. Love like one who has nothing to prove and everything to give. You are not trying to become, you already are.

You are forgiven.
You are restored to Him, and brand new.
You are a son. You are a daughter.
You are royalty.

And this is your time to walk boldly in that truth.

Because in Christ Jesus, shame is silenced, and honor as His Son or Daughter, speaks. Confusion is replaced with clarity. And purpose, glorious purpose says you are deeply loved, completely forgiven, fully pleasing, totally accepted by God, and absolutely complete in Christ Jesus!

If you have not committed your life to Jesus, or you have walked away from Him doing your own thing, I invite you to come back to Him today.

~ Dear Heavenly Father ~

Thank You for sending Jesus to die on the Cross just for me. I admit that I have sinned, and I repent. I ask You to forgive me. I believe that He died and rose again. Right now, I make Him the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. My sins are washed away, my past is forgiven, and my future is bright. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ Name Amen.

Make today count and see you tomorrow.
